At Google, Boston
A hundred funded startups came together at Google’s office in Boston. We met founders across Australia, London, New York, San Francisco, and more.
We listened to some great talks from Nicholas Myers and Clement Cazalot, building Phoenix Tailings, Patrick Boyaggi on his journey to exit with Own Up, Susan Conover on Piction Health, and Alex Gabriel on Rally AI. What landed was how plain they were about the hard parts.
The workshops had that same directness. John Hill on what a LinkedIn network is for and how to use it. Keith Camhi on pitches people understand and remember.
We also really enjoyed the panels. Biren Sethi on the future of AI. Giuseppe Stuto, Lenworth Henry, and Allard Luchsinger on defensibility. Tim Grace, David Chang, and Malika Cantor on the pre-seed and seed landscape. Matthew Jaeh, Jessica Locke, and Laurens Hamerlinck on enterprise partnerships.
Brad Feld spoke about how Techstars got started, the banana lounge and the lessons learned along the way. We had a great time at the Red Sox game with the Fintech batch.
